This policy explains what you are charged, how to cancel, and how to get your money back. It applies to every purchase made on Public Records Online and forms part of our Terms of Service.
In short: your $19.95 initial charge is fully refundable for 30 days, and you can cancel your membership at any time to stop all future charges.
If you are not satisfied for any reason, we will refund your $19.95 initial charge in full when you request it within 30 days of the purchase date. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to have used the service to qualify.
You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals. If a monthly renewal charge of $29.95 has already been taken and you contact us within 30 days of that charge, we will refund it in full provided you have not downloaded a report during that billing period. If you have downloaded a report during the period, we will review your request and, where the circumstances warrant it, issue a full or partial refund at our discretion.
If a renewal charge was made after you had already cancelled, or was duplicated in error, we will refund it in full regardless of usage.
Cancelling stops all future charges. Your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for — cancelling does not cut off access you have already purchased. You can cancel in any of these ways:
We confirm every cancellation by email. If you do not receive a confirmation within one business day, please contact us so we can verify that your cancellation was processed.

If you have any question about a charge, please contact us first. We are a small team and we answer quickly, and nearly every billing issue can be resolved the same day.
